The Depths

thedepths.org chronicles the continuing adventures of Patrick Simmons, a Peace Corps volunteer serving in Honduras.

When Columbus left Honduras he famously said “Gracias a Dios que hemos salido de esas Honduras” which translates to “Thank God we have come out of those depths.”  Patrick says “Thank God I have arrived in these depths.”
